thisquietarmy's first release ever. Wintersleeper evokes the feelings of self-confinement & self-isolation that are brought by the harsh canadian winter. An aural journey through the climatic changes caused by global warming : radical shifting nordic temperature vs. mood swings vs. natural disasters vs. tragedies vs. death. Our individual struggle against it has left us depleted of energy, we are helpless against the current world events, the fight for our planet’s justice is taking a fall... A desire floats as to be light years away from all of this, somewhere in outerspace, or a space inside our sleep, ...wintersleep until spring.
